The lodge is situated in the heart of Finnish Lapland, nestled in a dense forest near the Arctic Circle.
You can reach Octola Lodge in about 20 minutes by car from Rovaniemi Airport.
The best times to visit are from March to June for longer days and milder temperatures, or from November to March if you want to experience the true spirit of the region and possibly see the Northern Lights.
The lodge features the design of traditional "laavu" structures, which were historically used as shelters by nomadic communities.
