You can reach Svalbard via direct flights from Oslo or Tromsø. In winter, the hotel is accessible only by dog sled or snowmobile; in summer, it’s reachable by boat across the Arctic waters.
The only months when temperatures consistently rise above freezing are July and August. For a true winter experience, April and May are ideal.
