The lodge is located in the Ngala Private Game Reserve, within the Kruger National Park.
The lodge can be reached from the lodge's private airstrip or in about two hours by transfer from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport.
The best time to visit is from May to mid-November.
The thatched cottages are reminiscent of traditional South African structures and blend harmoniously with their surroundings. The interiors are adorned with furnishings and antiques that evoke the era of exploration.
