guntû: a floating sanctuary on Japan’s Seto Inland Sea

guntû is an intimate floating hotel that gracefully cruises the tranquil waters of Japan’s Seto Inland Sea. Designed to evoke the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese ryokan, the vessel features a distinctive silver hull that mirrors the changing colours of the sea and sky. On board, you'll find just 19 beautifully crafted wooden cabins and inviting communal spaces designed by acclaimed Japanese architect Yasushi Horibe, including an elegant sushi bar and a serene spa. Departing from Bella Vista Marina in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture, guntû offers two- and three-night cruises exploring the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. Guests can choose from western, central, or eastern itineraries, each thoughtfully curated to showcase picturesque islands, historic landmarks, and authentic cultural experiences.
